Week 10 also marked the 2017 Annual General Meeting for Green Valley Languages and Arts School. The AGM is an important event for our school from an administrative and financial perspective, and we report the results of the AGM to the Department of Fair Trading. The newly elected positions for this year's term of office are as follows:

• School President: Mr Ami Chand

• School Vice Presidents: Mr Victor Kumar and Miss Shirleen Chand

• School Treasurer: Mr Mukesh Chand

• School Secretary: Miss Roshni Sharma

• School Public Relations Officer: Mr Shalen Jattan

All of these positions are volunteer unpaid positions, and are here to serve the goals of the school - to provide students with tools to foster and maintain their cultural identity while contributing positively to their families and the wider multicultural community. Teaching high quality Hindi language ensuring a culture of continuous improvement where the quality Hindi language and arts classes is the avenue for achieving this, and we also aim to create a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, inclusion and transparency to assist in achieving this goal.
